Searching with Quick Find

Using Quick Find to search for documents is the simplest search method of all. Quick Find performs a Google-like search based on the words you enter. The properties that are searched can be pre-configured. Quick Find also supports the OR and - operators.

To search with Quick Find:

1. To search in more than the active library, click the search in button. A dialog listing the available vaults appears. Select the vaults that you want to search and click OK.
2. Select the properties that you want to search as described in Configuring the Quick Find options.
3. Type the words that you want to find in the Quick Find text box in the toolbar.
4. Press Enter or click the Quick Find toolbutton . The results of the search in each of the vaults that you selected in step 1 appear in separate Search result pages in the document list pane.
